Probably a good assumption, since he is rumored to be saying it's Herbert Hoover all over again, so he probably wants to get out of Dodge before the total economic collapse he envisions is going to be pinned on his camp...
4) That the Treasury's gift, via the Fed, of 2 trillion in loans to the banks did not wear out the dies on the printing presses at the Denver and Philly mints, so that Obama can print even more money to carry on with the Nation's business. More impoortantly, that the banks just sit tight, as they are, now, refusing to both do soemthing "productive" with that money and, since everything is seen as prone to deflationary risk, there is no reason for the executives to lavish themselves with bonuses till there is something worth buying...

Given that all that turns out to be OK. Now, Obama's first concern, of course, is his relationship with ethnicities.
In typical order they are: ThoseWhoHistoricallySpokeOrWereMadeToSpeakEnglishMainlyPAC, ThoseThatHaveLotsOfOilPAC, AIPAC, GreekPAC and then the RestOfTheEthnicWorldThatDonatesSomeCampaignDollarsPAC. Eventually, we will get our turn.
