Well,

Say that it is 6 weeks from now or so, and that following fundamentals hold up:

1) What played in Chicago stayed in Chicago.
2) What's not good for GM is not so bad, after all, for America.
3) President-elect Obama meant what he said when he wrote the Audacity of Hope, so that, in fact, it would be safe for the President-elect to say:

"Ah (I) did not have politics with that man!", to paraphrase the last great Democratic Presdent.

4) That the secret Commander-In-Chief and Secret President, Dick Cheney, does not cross the Potomac and declare martial law before the inauguration. Probably a good assumption, since he is rumored to be saying it's Herbert Hoover all over again, so he probably wants to get out of Dodge before the total economic collapse he envisions is going to be pinned on his camp...

4) That the Treasury's gift, via the Fed, of 2 trillion in loans to the banks did not wear out the dies on the printing presses at the Denver and Philly mints, so that Obama can print even more money to carry on with the Nation's business. More impoortantly, that the banks just sit tight, as they are, now, refusing to both do soemthing "productive" with that money and, since everything is seen as prone to deflationary risk, there is no reason for the executives to lavish themselves with bonuses till there is something worth buying...

Given that all that turns out to be OK. Now, Obama's first concern, of course, is his relationship with ethnicities.

In typical order they are: ThoseWhoHistoricallySpokeOrWereMadeToSpeakEnglishMainlyPAC, ThoseThatHaveLotsOfOilPAC, AIPAC, GreekPAC and then the RestOfTheEthnicWorldThatDonatesSomeCampaignDollarsPAC. Eventually, we will get our turn.

Someone from the best and brightest subset of this list could be asked for the Ukrainian-American agenda. I would guess that this unknown selectee would come from ththe subset of intelligensia on this list that somehow actually managed to parlay Oy Bozhe please tell me it's not Saturday Ukie School time again into a Harvard degree, complete with printed diploma, alumni card similar to Obamas , together with a stack of loans the size of a small auto maker's current shortfall.

So, what would that agenda be?
