Though I distrust polls taken this late in the game...

CNN/Time/Opinion Research Corp. recent survey suggests older Colorado voters are moving towards Obama:

I would love to know if this is occuring outside of the North Denver-Boulder axis of Birkenstocks and tofu based cuisine.

The Republican registered voter edge in the 'Springs area is quite substantial, this is the home of Focus of the Family, after all. (Pronounced Fucus on the Family by my neighbors from Spain, btw) Even tough Dobson finally came out for McCain, there is lingering resentment against McCain among what I call the Neo-Conservative-Biblical-literalist-post-reactionary-far-right-wing here. Which amuses itself by calling itself liberatarian. Why, I am not quite sure. My suspicion is that McCain, from time to time, tries to do something in the public interest, like curtailing wholesale corporate purchases of elections.

However, McCain's choice of Sarah Palin for VP means McCain has entered into his own Faustian bargain. Lets hope this is not Pandora's Box.

It's all about Hope now!
