The Wikipedia entry for Electoral College reminds us that the fateful 2000 election was stolen by Bush despite the majority popular vote that went to Gore. "Candidates can fail to get the most votes in the nationwide popular vote in a presidential election and still win that election. This occurred in 1876, 1888 and 2000."

Our job is to make sure no state teetering on the edge between the two candidates falls into the wrong hands. Make sure the word gets out to all your friends and enemies, family, neighbors -- anybody qualified to vote. Ask each one of them on Tuesday if they've been to the polls yet.

Until Tuesday, talk to all of them about why Obama is the right choice for change.
